Founder

Randy Flannery has held Leadership positions in Consumer Product Companies for 37 years. He has worked in very large manufacturing companies (Procter & Gamble) as well as start-up firms (Redox Brands—acquired laundry & cleaning brands, & Zarbee’s Inc—maker of All Natural OTC products). He has sold brands in nearly every product category offered at retail — Laundry Care, Dish Care, Cleaners, Health & Beauty Care, Food, Beverage, Frozen, Refrigerated, Shelf Stable Vegetables & Juices, Paper, General Merchandise, Gum & Confection and Lawn & Garden.

Prior to joining Procter & Gamble in 1985, Randy was a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army for 5 years, where he was selected for two Company Commands. Randy served in the Republic of South Korea and was a member of the 101st Airborne Division. He is graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been married for 40 years and has four grown children plus 11 grandchildren.

For the past 24 years, Randy has specialized in designing & building sales teams equipped to grow sales at an astronomical rate. Given a Company/Brand strategy, he has successfully grown sales & market share where little to no sales existed. Randy has the ability to look at current sales organizational designs & approaches to retail customers and develop a sales strategy that delivers results that far exceed expectations. RexFlannery
Owner and CEO

Rex Flannery has an extremely strong DSD & Operations background. He has worked in multiple markets throughout the Midwest, Northeast & Southeast. Rex spent 5 years as a Business Leader & District Sales Leader with Pepsico/Frito Lay and has successfully managed small format districts for the Dollar, Drug & Convenience retail channels as well as Large format districts for Supermarket, Mass, & Club retail channels. He has managed up to 25 route sales representatives & 5 full-time merchandisers across 2 districts & has additionally served as Zone Trainer of future managers and was recognized as a peer leader.

He demonstrated the ability to think strategically, sell conceptually & execute tactically in a business culture. Rex was recognized by Mid-America Region, winning the collaboration award and district sales leader of the year for the Cleveland Zone. He was also recognized as one of a few business leaders with High Potential, and has been lauded by Executive VPs, Senior VPs, & Regional VPs for his ability to consistently overachieve his goals, solve problems, and lead with energy and attitude.

Rex has been instrumental in growing our client’s business both regionally and nationally.  He’s had success at National accounts like Kroger, TJ Maxx, Burlington and Joann’s.  He has excelled in growing business significantly at strong regional grocery accounts such as Stop & Shop, Giant, Wakefern, Food Lion, Ingles, Jewel, Woodman’s and Marc’s.  Rex has been able to penetrate new retail channels for our clients in the Farm & Fleet, Dollar and Drug retail space.

Rex graduated from Ohio University in 2013 and majored in Communications.  He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Kiersten, their kids Rory, Riley and Jack, and their dog Gus!

Director of Operations & Customer Service

Laura Luckhaupt is our Customer Service & Operations Manager, leveraging her 15+ years of communication, interpersonal & organizational skills. Prior to CPGSS she worked at Paycor, a growing Human Capital Management company, where she held several roles including Sales, Management and Learning & Development. Given Laura’s experience, here at CPG Sales Solutions she is focused on customer service, account setups, coordinating across customers, Third Party Logistics and Demand Planning. Her teamwork and coordination skills across internal team members as well her ability to work directly with Retail and Professional accounts make her an invaluable asset to the CPG Sales Solutions Team!

Laura graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Ohio University. She resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her four young children, husband Chris and her dog, Lola.

IT Consultant and Software Developer

Tom Dean has been working as a Software Developer since 1987, specializing in Object-Oriented Design and Development. In that time, he has worked for Reynolds & Reynolds, Arbor Intelligent Systems, Professional Data Resources, Convergys and Fifth Third Bancorp, and has consulted with Prentice-Hall, Sprint, Verizon/AWS, TKS, BellSouth and Sri Lanka Telecom. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (MSCS) from Northern Kentucky University, is comfortable developing both User Interfaces, Servers and Web Services, and holds a U.S. Patent as a co-inventor of a Web Browser Framework. He is currently retired.
