Randy Flannery has held Leadership positions in Consumer Product Companies for 37 years. He has worked in very large manufacturing companies (Procter & Gamble) as well as start-up firms (Redox Brands—acquired laundry & cleaning brands, & Zarbee’s Inc—maker of All Natural OTC products). He has sold brands in nearly every product category offered at retail — Laundry Care, Dish Care, Cleaners, Health & Beauty Care, Food, Beverage, Frozen, Refrigerated, Shelf Stable Vegetables & Juices, Paper, General Merchandise, Gum & Confection and Lawn & Garden.

Prior to joining Procter & Gamble in 1985, Randy was a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army for 5 years, where he was selected for two Company Commands. Randy served in the Republic of South Korea and was a member of the 101st Airborne Division. He is graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been married for 40 years and has four grown children plus 11 grandchildren.

For the past 24 years, Randy has specialized in designing & building sales teams equipped to grow sales at an astronomical rate. Given a Company/Brand strategy, he has successfully grown sales & market share where little to no sales existed. Randy has the ability to look at current sales organizational designs & approaches to retail customers and develop a sales strategy that delivers results that far exceed expectations. Jim Birt is an industry veteran with sales experience in Away from Home & Food Service, At Home and Industrial Segments. Jim’s experience is in the sales, marketing and management consulting areas for food and beverage manufacturers with a strong focus within the food service segment. He has led sales and marketing efforts with teams from Fortune 500 and startup companies throughout his 35+ years of management experience.

Jim has held senior level positions as regional, national accounts, director, managing director and president within a number of companies throughout his career. His experience comes from Colgate Palmolive, Kraft, Inc., Imperial Cup Corporation, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc., Hudson Foods/Tyson Foods, Townsends, Inc. along with a number of startup companies.

Throughout Jim’s career he has developed his skills by earning a Bachelor of Science in Management from Lesley University, Cambridge, MA, and has participated in ODI training and Executive Management Training – University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. Jim has four grown children, seven grandchildren and has been married for 43 years. watch

In July 2010, Jim launched Berwyn Levitt Marketing LLC, a management consulting service for manufacturers within the food and beverage segment. His business experience has allowed him to provide consulting services to clients that have brought products to the food service, convenience store, vending, office coffee, mobile catering, club store, transportation and retail segments. Vice President of Strategy & National Accounts

 

Rex Flannery has an extremely strong DSD & Operations background. He has worked in multiple markets throughout the Midwest, Northeast & Southeast. Rex spent 5 years as a Business Leader & District Sales Leader with Pepsico/Frito Lay and has successfully managed small format districts for the Dollar, Drug & Convenience retail channels as well as Large format districts for Supermarket, Mass, & Club retail channels. He has managed up to 25 route sales representatives & 5 full-time merchandisers across 2 districts & has additionally served as Zone Trainer of future managers and was recognized as a peer leader.

He demonstrated the ability to think strategically, sell conceptually & execute tactically in a business culture. Rex was recognized by Mid-America Region, winning the collaboration award and district sales leader of the year for the Cleveland Zone. He was also recognized as one of a few business leaders with High Potential, and has been lauded by Executive VPs, Senior VPs, & Regional VPs for his ability to consistently overachieve his goals, solve problems, and lead with energy and attitude.

Rex has been instrumental in growing our client’s business both regionally and nationally.  He’s had success at National accounts like Kroger, TJ Maxx, Burlington and Joann’s.  He has excelled in growing business significantly at strong regional grocery accounts such as Stop & Shop, Giant, Wakefern, Food Lion, Ingles, Jewel, Woodman’s and Marc’s.  Rex has been able to penetrate new retail channels for our clients in the Farm & Fleet, Dollar and Drug retail space.

Sales Management Professional

 

Tanja Tyner is a results-driven sales professional with over 25 years of sales experience in Consumer Products, managing many channels of business, both domestically and internationally. She has driven sales in Grocery, Drug, Club, Dollar, Mass and Specialty, focusing on HBC and General Merchandise products.

Tanja was instrumental in developing the International marketplace for Evenflo Company. She was responsible for product development, product placement, management and sales growth in South and Central America, focusing on Price Smart and growing this into a multi-million dollar business.
She has led sales for Evenflo Feeding, in the grocery channel, managing a broker network of over 30. She is responsible for all aspects of sales growth and management for Evenflo Feeding, and the newly acquired brand 4eGlobal which focuses on cleaning products (soft soaps, lotions, body wash).

Prior to becoming a sales manager, Tanja was a representative/broker in a sales organization. She attended Cal State Long Beach and UC Irvine and resides in Southern California with her husband of 20 years and 2 children.

Mark Wiechert brings broad CPG industry expertise and knowledge in blending business strategy, insight-driven solutions and executional expertise to drive business growth. Throughout his career, Mark has worked with sales, brand management and shopper marketing teams for a portfolio of Fortune 500 companies including P&G, Smuckers, Coca-Cola, Heinz, Abbott and others. Mark has also worked with and developed strong working relationships with senior leaders at Kroger, Target, Publix, Safeway and other top retailers.

Mark rose through a series of increasingly responsible leadership roles in his nearly 20-year career with IRI, leading sales and consulting teams working with manufacturers and retailers across the Grocery, Drug, Mass and Convenience channels. Throughout his time with IRI, Mark delivered a constant flow of highly profitable revenue growth. He also developed exceptional skills in distilling data and analytics into understandings of consumer behavior, and utilizing that understanding to aggressively drive brand sales growth.

Mark also led Marketing and Business Development functions for a rapidly growing Sales & Marketing Agency, focused on driving sales growth, marketing effectiveness and strategic engagement with key grocery and retail accounts. He consistently exceeded topline revenue and margin objectives for some of the most iconic brands in the CPG industry.

Mark is a proud graduate of Miami University, has 3 grown children and lives in Cincinnati with his wife of 35 years and their 2 dogs.

He has held leadership roles in Trade Marketing, Sales Finance and Sales Management at large companies like Warner Lambert as well as start-up CPG companies. He also founded his own retail business and has a young entrepreneurial company spirit!

Laura Luckhaupt is our Customer Service & Operations Manager, leveraging her 15+ years of communication, interpersonal & organizational skills. Prior to CPGSS she worked at Paycor, a growing Human Capital Management company, where she held several roles including Sales, Management and Learning & Development. Given Laura’s experience, here at CPG Sales Solutions she is focused on customer service, account setups, coordinating across customers, Third Party Logistics and Demand Planning. Her teamwork and coordination skills across internal team members as well her ability to work directly with Retail and Professional accounts make her an invaluable asset to the CPG Sales Solutions Team!

 

Laura graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications from Ohio University. She resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her four young children, husband Chris and her dog, Lola.

Tom Dean has been working as a Software Developer for 35 years, specializing in Object-Oriented Design and Development. In that time, he has worked for Reynolds & Reynolds, Arbor Intelligent Systems, Professional Data Resources, Convergys and Fifth Third Bancorp, and has consulted with Prentice-Hall, Sprint, Verizon/AWS, TKS, BellSouth and Sri Lanka Telecom. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (MSCS) from Northern Kentucky University, is comfortable developing both User Interfaces, Servers and Web Services, and holds a U.S. Patent as a co-inventor of a Web Browser Framework.
